Need a break from the heat but still want to enjoy the beautiful breezes and views of the Gulf side of Pensacola Beach? You don’t have to travel far – come to Days Inn’s very own Fish Heads restaurant, located just behind the hotel on Pensacola Beach.
While some places on the beach boast long wait times and a dress code, Fish Heads encourages you to come as you are and walk right up to the counter from the sand or the street. No shirt, no shoes – no problem! (But be sure to bring your appetite.)
You won’t find a lot of filler and mediocre menu items on the Fish Heads menu. Instead, you’ll find a carefully selected menu of fresh, local ingredients that will please any palate.
“I prefer to have a 20 item menu with rockstar dishes than 35 items with padding and average meals,” says Fish Heads Chef Matthew Brown. “Our guests are better than that.”
Among the select list of specially-curated and freshly-prepared menu items are gourmet ‘haute dogs,’ an all-American hamburger and the uniquely named ‘Yankee Nachos,’ which are french fries buried under hearty chili and melty cheese, and topped off with fresh tomato, scallion and jalapeño. No need for white tablecloths here!
Even if you are just looking for a drink and a place to relax, Fish Heads is your perfect new hideout, complete with a stunning view overlooking the Gulf and an open-air patio. Feel the salty breeze from the beach while safely protected from the weather – rain or shine.
Speaking of drinks – whether you are looking for a minty and refreshing pineapple mojito or a chilled swig of your favorite domestic beer, Fish Heads has got you covered. Take a seat at our bar, chat with our friendly staff or have a laugh with your friends. Still have sand on your feet from the walk up? We won’t mind.
Come as you are and stay a while.
